Pumpkin Trail and Family Campfire – 29th October 2017

30 September 2017

We are holding our annual Pumpkin Hunt and Family Campfire on Sunday October 29th at the District Campsite, Beacon Hill. The event starts in the afternoon at 1500 hrs for Beavers and Cubs who have about an hour to follow a trail around the campsite in search of pumpkins whilst collecting autumn leaves to make a leaf crown. Scouts arrive at 1630 hrs in time for a family campfire that will start about 1700 hrs and last for 30-45 mins. After that, Scouts will also do the pumpkin hunt, but in the dark! They will finish about 2000 hrs.
There will be refreshments available in the afternoon for a small donation and the pumpkin hunt and leaf crown activity costs £2 per child payable on the day.

This is a family event so siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, anyone who is remotely related can all attend. Beavers and Cubs MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult for this activity as we do not have enough leaders to escort everyone around the campsite. Thanks for your understanding and support and I look forward to seeing you all there.
